Join TVO's mission as a Digital Media Producer I to create educational content from Toronto, ON. This role involves developing engaging shows that tackle misinformation head-on.
In this 12-month contract, you will be integral in producing segments for the Big (If True) show, focusing on critical issues regarding deception and misinformation. Your responsibilities will include pitching story ideas, conducting interviews, and ensuring the highest quality of content through thorough fact-checking and research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce, pitch, and write educational content
• Direct studio and field interviews effectively
• Collaborate with teams to optimize production flow
• Fact-check scripts and verify sources thoroughly




• Design visually engaging reports in collaboration with editors
Requirements:
• Experience in a production workplace, especially as a Chase Producer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledgeable about misinformation and disinformation tactics
• Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
• Familiarity with research and production digital tools
