Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Director, Digital Communications & Enablement will lead strategic communications, culture, and organizational enablement for Digital business. You will develop and execute comprehensive internal communications and employee engagement strategies that inspire, connect, and mobilize teams across Digital. This position will serve as the voice of Digital, crafting compelling narratives that amplify business priorities, celebrate achievements, and build a thriving, high-performing culture aligned with Personal Banking objectives. You will partner with stakeholders to drive transparency and organizational effectiveness through strategic communications, large-scale events, talent programs, recognition initiatives, and digital workplace enablement.Strategic Communications & Executive MessagingDevelop comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with Digital, Personal Banking, and Empower 2030 prioritiesServe as strategic advisor to Digital SVPs/VPs on messaging, stakeholder engagement, and change managementCreate and deliver executive-level content (quarterly updates, speaking notes, newsletters, campaigns) and lead change communications during transformationsPartner with Corporate Communications and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, monitor effectiveness, and adapt strategiesEvent Production & Leadership EngagementLead end-to-end production of large-scale events (town halls, forums, celebrations, offsites) including concept development, speaker prep, logistics, vendor coordination, and facilitationDesign creative formats and capture event moments through post-event communications and video highlights to maximize reach across in-person, virtual, and hybrid audiencesCulture, Engagement & RecognitionDesign culture-building initiatives and lead employee engagement strategy (surveys, data analysis, action planning)



aligned with OneRBC valuesCoordinate ERGs and engagement committees; design and launch rewards/recognition programs and peer recognition initiativesDrive culture communications promoting collaboration, diversity, and innovation; champion Digital's EVP and career growth opportunitiesTalent, Onboarding & Digital EnablementOwn talent engagement programs and design best-in-class onboarding (Day 1+ journeys, orientation, toolkits); support talent acquisition and employer brandingOwn Digital's intranet hub as centralized digital workplace; drive adoption of digital tools (Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage) and partner with IT for enhancementsFacilitate networking forums enabling cross-team connectionsBudget, Planning & Team LeadershipDevelop and manage annual operating budget with forecasting, tracking, and financial reporting; optimize resource allocation and manage procurementLead annual headcount planning and FTE allocation; forecast staffing needsand ensure team is appropriately sized and skilledBuild and lead high-performing team with mentorship, coaching, talent management, succession planning, and representation in cross-functional forumsWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have:10+ years progressive experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications, preferably in financial servicesProven track record planning and executing large-scale internal events (town halls, conferences)



with hundreds of attendeesExceptional storytelling and content creation skills; ability to craft compelling executive messaging for diverse audiencesExperience providing strategic communications counsel to senior executives (VP/SVP level) on messaging and change managementStrong project management skills managing multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and competing demandsExperience designing and executing talent engagement and onboarding programsExperience managing operating budgets, headcount planning, and financial reporting for communicationsNice to Have:Deep knowledge of Personal Banking & Digital businessBackground in organizational change management or culture transformation initiativesBackground in HR, talent management, or organizational developmentKnowledge of employee engagement survey methodologies and analyticsExperience with video production, multimedia content creation, and digital storytellingGraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Organizational Development; IABC or Prosci certificationWhat's in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
