Here you can make an impact on the world around you and accelerate your career in areas that energize and excite you.About The PositionThis role oversees branch inventory and supply planning, driving performance, managing supplier relationships, and leading a team to support overall business goals.What you’ll do:Establishes, tracks and communicates branch targets related to inventory and service performanceManages, develops, mentors and trains purchasing personnel including a team of Supply Planners, Forecaster and Inventory CoordinatorWorks proactively with purchasing and sales teams to monitor and reduce underperforming inventoryAssesses purchasing options and completes purchase approvalsEstablishes goals and strategies for improved forecast performance for the branch and works directly with the Forecaster and Sales team to review performance and opportunities for improvementDevelops, mentors and trains purchasing personnel including a team of Supply Planners, Forecaster and Inventory CoordinatorWorks closely with other department managers to meet and exceed branch goalsHires, promotes, changes responsibilities of, evaluates and recommends salary increases for staff directly supervisedOther duties as requiredWhat you’ll need:University degree or specialized certification (PMAC, APICS, or related work experience)Ability to analyze alternatives, use judgment and initiative in managing inventoryExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperienced with ERP – MRP systemsMust be highly organizedMinimum (2) years of management experience requiredWhere you'll work:Univar Solutions Canada Ltd64 Arrow Rd,North York, Ontario M9M 2L9Pay and benefits:This position is currently vacant. The annual expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience,
