This position serves male youths aged 16-24 at WoodGreen's emergency shelter. You will utilize a strengths-based approach to connect with residents and foster a supportive environment. Your understanding of youth issues and teamwork will be pivotal in this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver direct care and supervision of shelter clients • Facilitate youth and family engagement initiatives • Ensure safety through facility checks and documentation • Manage daily operational functions of the shelter • Supervise mealtime routines with clients
Requirements: • Degree or diploma in social work, child youth care, or similar • Experience with adolescents or homeless populations • Solid verbal and written communication abilities • Certification in First Aid/CPR and aggression management • Completed suicide prevention training
