Logistics Analyst - Temporary (12 months)

About the Role

EHPlabs is looking for a Temporary Logistics Analyst to join our North American supply chain team for maternity leave coverage for approximately 12 months. Reporting to the North American Logistics Manager, you'll step in as the operational backbone of the network — the person who keeps freight, warehouses, and 3PL partners running like clockwork, and who spots problems before they become bottlenecks.

You'll own the data, investigations, and vendor relationships that keep inventory moving on time and on budget across transportation, warehousing, carrier performance, and third-party logistics. This is a role for someone who can hit the ground running — as comfortable building a KPI dashboard as they are getting a carrier on the phone to resolve a delayed shipment — and who treats every discrepancy as a puzzle worth solving properly, not just closing out.

You'll work closely with warehouses, carriers, freight brokers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to identify efficiency gains, reduce transportation costs, and drive continuous improvement across the network for the duration of the assignment, with the potential to extend or convert to a permanent role based on business needs.

What You'll Do:

Performance, Analytics & Reporting

- Develop, implement, and maintain operational KPIs and scorecards across transportation, warehousing, inventory, carrier performance, and 3PL operations.
- Build dashboards and reporting tools that give leadership real visibility into supply chain health.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, and validate the data behind them.
- Analyze trends, present findings and recommendations at operational review meetings, and recommend corrective action where performance slips.

Transportation & Carrier Management

- Coordinate inbound inventory movements from manufacturers to warehouses, and transfers between warehouses and co-manufacturers.
- Schedule and manage transportation with approved freight brokers and carriers, monitoring shipments through final delivery.
- Build and maintain carrier and broker relationships, negotiate rates,



and obtain competitive quotations.
- Monitor freight spend against budget, challenge rates, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Warehouse Operations, Inventory Integrity & Claims

- Independently investigate warehouse, transportation, and inventory discrepancies, completing root cause analysis within SLA.
- Coordinate corrective action with manufacturers, warehouses, carriers, and internal teams to close out issues.
- File freight and warehouse claims within contractual timeframes and manage them through to resolution.
- Spot recurring issues and trends, and recommend preventative fixes.

Governance, Continuous Improvement & Documentation

- Run operational reviews with 3PL partners and monitor SLA compliance, tracking corrective actions to closure.
- Identify process improvements that reduce cost or improve service across the network.
- Maintain complete, audit-ready shipment documentation (BOLs, PODs, carrier records, freight invoices) in the shared drive.
- Support annual logistics budgeting and ad hoc supply chain projects as they arise.

About You

- You have 5+ years experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain analysis, ideally within a fast-moving CPG, FMCG, or consumer goods environment.
- You're genuinely comfortable in the data — building KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reports that people actually use to make decisions.
- You investigate rather than assume: you follow discrepancies to their root cause and see fixes through to closure.
- You negotiate confidently with carriers and brokers, and you know how to turn freight spend into a lever for savings.
- You're organized and documentation-minded — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
- You communicate clearly with warehouses, carriers, manufacturers,



and internal stakeholders alike, and you know how to escalate at the right moment.
- You take ownership of problems end-to-end and move with urgency when service levels are on the line.
- You're motivated by building better processes, not just maintaining existing ones.
- You're available to start quickly and commit to the full length of the assignment, and you ramp up fast in a new environment.

Bonus Points If:

- You've worked directly with 3PL providers and understand how to hold them accountable to SLAs.
- You have hands-on experience with TMS, WMS, or inventory management systems.
- You've worked in sports nutrition, supplements, wellness, or active lifestyle categories.
- You've managed freight claims processes and know the contractual timelines cold.
- You've supported logistics budgeting or cost-reduction initiatives at a network level.
