Join Arbour Creek Care Centre as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Hamilton, Ontario. This part time opportunity focuses on delivering compassionate nursing care and fostering positive relationships with residents.
As an RPN, you will report directly to the Director of Care and help develop tailored care plans for each resident. Your duties will include supervising PSWs, maintaining quality care standards, and actively engaging with residents throughout shifts. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to ensure optimal care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with healthcare professionals and families
• Evaluate PSW performance and provide feedback
• Administer medications according to policies
• Conduct assessments and document resident care
• Lead interactions that ensure residents’ rights
Requirements:
• Current RPN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
• Excellent communication capabilities
• Knowledge of RAI-MDS system
• Recent clear vulnerable sector screen
