Supervisor
, the Transportation
Coordinator
will plan
deliveries and pickups
to
customers and
at
suppliers, using the Transportation Management System (TMS). The incumbent will
also
process requests for transfers and semi-directs and will conduct follow-ups. Finally, they will provide
exceptionnal
customer service to their internal and external clients.
Your role: Plan delivery and pickup routes using a TMS for
Central/Eastern
Canada
Enhance TMS usage by contributing to the improvement of its quality and processes
Manage trailer overflow, manage
add-ons
and prioritize loading schedule
Inform
carriers,
customers and suppliers of transportation
pickups and deliveries
Maintain the delivery schedules in the system
Ensure that transportation operations are smoothly
Provide service to
our
customers and suppliers
Ensure communication between
our carriers,
shipping
and receiving
departments
Ensure carriers are paid in the Freight Pay system
What we're looking for:
College degree in transportation and
logistics
or t
hree years of relevant transportation experience
with a high school diploma
Knowledge of
Eastern
Canad
a
geography
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
Proficiency
with the Microsof
t Excel
Ability to resolve operational problems
