As Northern Regional Manager, you'll play a key role in connecting northern communities by providing hands‑on leadership across our northern operations, supporting frontline teams, and ensuring safe, reliable service throughout the network. You will work with station teams, contractors, vendors, airport authorities, local communities, and internal departments to keep the operation moving safely and reliably.Operational LeadershipOversee safe and efficient aircraft handling, passenger service, baggage operations, grooming, and ramp activitiesMonitor operational performance, including on-time performance, delays, baggage handling, staffing, customer service, and overall station reliabilityLead teams to provide calm, practical support during irregular operations and emergenciesLead coach, mentor, and support team members across the northern regionParticipate in hiring, training, succession planning,



and employee developmentBuild a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, service and safetySafety, Service & ComplianceSupport compliance with Transport Canada requirements, airport authority requirements, company policies, and Safety Management System standardsPromote safety awareness and practical operational best practices across northern stationsResolve escalated operational and customer service matters in a timely, respectful, and professional wayPlanning, Reporting & RelationshipsMonitor staffing levels, overtime, operational expenses, vendor performance, and resource needsSupport contract management, operational planning, reports, performance summaries, and recommendationsMaintain positive working relationships with airport authorities, ground service providers, contractors, and local communitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with northern communities, Indigenous governments, and key stakeholders to strengthen Air North's reputation and support regional growthWhat you bringYou do not need to have followed one perfect career path to be successful in this role. We are looking for a grounded, safety-minded leader who understands operational standards, communicates well,



and can earn trust across teams and communities.Grade 12 diploma or equivalentAt least 4 years of experience in aviation; experience in northern operations is strongly preferredAt least 3 years of management or leadership experienceAbility to obtain and retain a valid security clearance, radio, and airside driving permitsPhysical ability to work in an active operational environment, including heavy lifting, extended standing, confined spaces, kneeling, etc.Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or proof of right to work in CanadaWhy join Air North?Air North is more than an airline.
