The Position:
Position based in Nisku working Mon-Friday. With some out of town and project based work.
Applicant will be operating out of a welding truck with field and shop work expected.
Perform welding repairs to construction equipment. Following OEM repair procedures.
Perform component repairs and overhauls such as Buckets, Rippers and Shears.
Bore weld and line bore equipment and attachment's.
Repair attachments and tooling. Build up and hard-facing.
Fabricate various components such as equipment stands, transport brackets and steel structures.
Ability to read and interpret schematics/drawings.
Applicant must have the ability to be resourceful and able think outside of the box.
Requirements:
Journeyman Welder with CWB certifications in stick and wire all positions.
Minimum 5 years experience.
Experience with line boring considered an asset but not a requirement.
Experience with lancing considered an asset but not a requirement.
Hold a clean class 5 drivers license and be willing to provide an abstract.
Conduct yourself in a professional and safe manner that reflects the goals, expectations and image of Kiwi Wrench Ltd.
Ability to lift and manage 50lbs without assistance.
Complete pre employment drug and alcohol testing.
Be able to work out of town in remote locations when required.
