Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. This role requires proficiency in various surveying tools and technologies, as well as the ability to work in a very demanding workplace. Candidates must be local to Fort Mcmurray. Shift will be 10 on and 4 off.
Duties
Provide layout for underground utilities and concrete foundations.
Topographic surveying using both GPS and total station
Maintain equipment and ensure all surveying tools are in valuable working condition.
Assist in the development of project plans by providing critical survey information.
Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in the industrial construction surveying industry.
Knowledge of total station is essential
Proficiency in AutoCAD an added bonus
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Robust communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
Experience with underground locating would definitely be an asset.
