Job Overview
We are seeking a Machine Operator to run Automatic Paint Line, set up spray guns and equipment, and provide quality control.

This is a unionized position; upon completion of probation, you will be required to become a member. Advantages through the union.

Responsibilities:
Tend to the equipment that cleans and sprays parts. Mix paint and thinner of specified color and viscosity, pour solution into wash tanks or containers of electrostatic spraying unit.
Adjusts controls of cleaning solution tanks for specified temperature, conveyor controls for rate of movement, and sprayer controls for rate of spray and voltage as indicated by dials.
Observes conveyor line until parts run is finished, and changes paint color to meet requirements.
Must supervise quality control of the painted products and record operational data.




Communicate frequently with team regarding concerns, discrepancies and continuous improvement ideas.
To work with others in a safe, cooperative, and efficient manner, following secure work procedures at all times
To maintain a clean and organized work area
Must be consistently punctual and available for a minimum of 40 hours per week
Must perform other duties as assigned
To wear safety equipment where required by company policy or WCB regulations (i.e., steel toe shoes
May be required to obtain Lift Truck Operator Certificate.

Pay: From $34.09 per hour
