Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our team of dedicated dental professionals. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.

Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records using Abeldent dental software.
Educate patients on post-treatment care.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
Assist with pediatric dental care, ensuring a comfortable setting for young patients.
Utilize CEREC 3D scanner technology for dental impressions.
Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to dentistry to enhance communication with the dental team.

Requirements




Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice is required as we are a large practice with a busy schedule.
Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Abeldent, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Dental terminology and tooth numbers.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining professionalism and compassion towards patients.
Certification in Dental Assisting and good standing with the ODAA
Willingness to learn and grow as a part of our team and contribute to oral health of our patients!

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
