Rag Cutter – Production

Job Description:
Acadian Wipers is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Rag Cutter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, sorting, and preparing textile materials into finished wiping rags while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Cut textile materials into designated sizes and types
Sort and bundle rags according to material, size, and quality standards
Inspect materials for foreign objects, defects, or contamination
Operate cutting equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality
Work independently and as part of a team





Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to perform repetitive cutting, bending, and lifting

Qualifications & Skills:
Manufacturing or production experience considered an asset (training provided)
Solid attention to detail and sense of urgency
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Consistently reliable, responsible, and dependable
Based on piece work once training is completed

Potential to earn over $20.00 per hour

Job Type: Full time
