We are seeking a dedicated Relief Pharmacist to join our energetic healthcare team, providing essential pharmacy services across various hospital units and healthcare settings. Responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with medical orders and pharmacy protocols
Provide expert guidance on medication usage, potential interactions, and side effects to healthcare specialists and patients
Administer medications safely, including injections or IV preparations when required and authorized
Collaborate with hospital staff to support patient care initiatives, including pediatrics and acute care cases
Maintain comprehensive documentation of medication administration, inventory levels, and patient records
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and safety standards
Assist in inventory management,
including stock replenishment and proper storage of pharmaceuticals
Qualifications
Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the applicable region or country
Proven hospital experience with a focus on acute care settings
Experience working with pediatric patients and managing complex medication regimens
Robust knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to healthcare delivery
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience in pediatrics or acute care units is highly desirable
