Responsibilities
Build trusting relationships with young people by offering consistent support, encouragement, and mentorship.
Conduct crisis intervention and crisis management to de-escalate situations and ensure safety for all involved.
Implement behavioral health strategies and addiction counseling techniques to assist youth struggling with substance use or mental health issues.
Collaborate with families, social workers, and community agencies to coordinate care plans aligned with child welfare and workforce development goals.
Supervise youth activities, ensuring a protected setting that promotes positive behavior and social skills development.




Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower youth in making healthy choices and setting achievable goals.
Maintain detailed case records, progress notes, and incident reports in compliance with organizational policies and confidentiality standards.

Skills
Strong crisis intervention and crisis management skills to handle emergency situations effectively.
Experience in social work or related fields with supervising or mentoring youth preferred.
Excellent communication skills to engage diverse populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to apply motivational interviewing techniques to motivate behavioral change.
