We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full time Class 1 Driver specializing in Truck and Pup and End Dump operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials across various sites, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities
Operate Class 1 trucks with Truck and Pup or End Dump configurations, adhering strictly to safety regulations and company policies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
Maintain accurate logs of all trips, freight movements, and vehicle maintenance records
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and pickups
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures to prevent accidents or incidents on the road
Skills
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for truck and pup/end dump operations with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving, particulary with heavy-duty trucks such as Truck and Pup or End Dump Trailers
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on heavy vehicles
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate machinery, and perform inspections efficiently
