We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The successful candidate will create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Strong communication skills and a cooperative, team-oriented approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences
Maintain a nurturing, protected, and inclusive classroom environment
Observe, document, and support children’s individual developmental needs
Communicate effectively and professionally with families
Promote positive behaviour using guidance and encouragement
Adapt programming to support children with diverse abilities
Maintain required documentation and records
Collaborate with colleagues on classroom activities and centre events
Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
RECE Diploma
Registered and in positive standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
Up-to-date immunization records, as required by Public Health
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Experience working in a licensed child care setting
Strong team player with a positive, professional attitude
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
Pay: $25.25-$26.25 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
