We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist an individual with an Acquired Brain Injury to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living; The individual is high functioning and ambulates with a walker.

Someone with a bubbly personality would be perfect for this position.

Location:
Nanaimo, BC

Casual Shifts & Hours of Work:
Saturday and Sunday
9:00pm to 5:00pm

Compensation:
$29.00 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
Cueing and direction through all activities of daily living
Taking the individual out into the community
Range of motion exercises

Required Qualifications:
Class 5 or 4 driver's license and personal vehicle
Clean driver's abstract
Registered Care Aide/Health Care Aide
Valid First Aid Certificate
Experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health Required
Willingness to be trained
Must be a non-smoker/non-vaper
Must have no history of injuries and be in valuable health
Must live in Nanaimo, BC
