Duties
Contribute to vulnerability research by identifying potential weaknesses.
Participate in incident response activities by investigating security breaches, documenting findings, and assisting with remediation efforts.
Review all inbound communications, triage, address and escalate issues as needed
Create reports for internal and public dissemination on threat detection events





Experience
Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), DHCP, DNS, NAT (Network Address Translation), and IP networking fundamentals.
Basic understanding of network protocols including HTTPS, SSH, FTP/SFTP, SOAP APIs; experience with network support tools like Wireshark.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks.
Awareness of cybersecurity principles including encryption techniques (PKI), vulnerability research methodologies, system security best practices for Linux/Unix/Windows environments.
Familiarity with Linux and the Linux Command line, 'vi' and network tools
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace while also being self-motivated.
