Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
Take and develop dental x-rays
Sterilize and maintain dental equipment
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Experience:
-Graduated from an accredited dental assistant program and be HARP certified is a must. Please indicated this on your CV or in your cover letter.
Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Dental Assistant, however we are willing to train the right Level 1 / new graduate.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
Experience using Dentrix
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and experience working with children
Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system for dental documentation
Experience in orthodontics
-Experience with iTero scanner
