Duties
Assist with excavation tasks using equipment such as excavators to prepare sites for planting or construction.
Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure healthy, sustainable landscapes.
Perform gardening duties including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching to enhance landscape aesthetics.
Contribute to landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, edging, and debris removal to keep sites tidy and well-kept.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various tasks including digging, trimming, and material handling.
Support construction projects by assisting with the setup of structures, pathways, or other landscape features.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic mechanical maintenance to ensure tools and machinery operate efficiently.
Skills
Experience with construction sites or landscaping projects is highly desirable.
Knowledge of horticulture principles and gardening techniques.
Mechanical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting tools and small machinery.
Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, drills) safely and effectively.
Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair processes.
Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
