We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part time ECE Assistant/Educator to join our team. Duties
Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Support children during activities such as reading, arts and crafts, and playtime to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
Supervise children to ensure safety at all times within the classroom and outdoor areas
Help with classroom management and behavior guidance in a positive manner
Support individualized learning plans, especially for children with disabilities or special needs
Prepare materials and set up learning stations for various activities
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Skills
Prior classroom experience or experience working with children is highly desirable
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies
Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and support staff
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
Basic understanding of math concepts suitable for early childhood education settings
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning environment

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
