Hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to join a high-precision machine shop serving the aerospace industry. This prospect is ideal for someone who is passionate about CNC machining, takes pride in quality, and enjoys working on complex parts in a tight-tolerance setting.
Responsibilities:
Set up from scratch, design fixtures, program, and operate CNC lathes, mills, and 5-axis machining centers
Work on multiple and complex parts in a high-precision, tight-tolerance environment
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T;, and CAD files
Program CNC machines using Mastercam software
Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other inspection equipment
Document work in accordance with AS9100D quality management system requirements
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
6 to 10 years of CNC machining experience
Strong experience programming and operating CNC lathes and mills
Experience with 5-axis machining is required
Must have experience with Mastercam software
Strong understanding of GD&T; and the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
Experience working with metal and hard plastic materials
Familiarity with aerospace quality standards, including AS9100, is an asset
Familiarity with ISO standards is a must
Shift-9:00 AM - 05:00 PM
