Breakaway Executive Search is seeking an experienced Non-Asset Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for our client, an established Warehousing company, in Mississauga, ON.

The ideal candidate is a high-performing sales skilled with a strong network of shippers, a proven ability to generate new business, and a deep understanding of third-party logistics and brokerage operations.

Salary: $80,000/year + commission

Responsibilities:
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within targeted industries and shipping segments
Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, supply chain managers, and logistics decision-makers
Develop customized transportation and logistics solutions using our non-asset carrier network
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closing
Collaborate with operations and carrier procurement teams to ensure seamless service execution
Maintain accurate pipeline and sales activity tracking in CRM systems
Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
Stay informed on market trends, freight rates, and competitive landscape
Other duties as required





Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in transportation brokerage, freight forwarding, or third-party logistics (3PL) sales
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
Strong network within Canadian or North American shipping markets
Deep understanding of truckload, LTL, intermodal, and cross-border freight solutions
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with robust time-management skills and the ability to work independently and drive results
