As Assistant Deli Manager at our James Bay location, you'll help lead a skilled team that takes real pride in the food they make and the community they serve, upholding the high standards our customers have come to count on.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Assist the Deli Manager with overseeing daily operations and food preparation.
Team Management: Assist with training and developing deli staff. Supervise various duties, including cooking, packaging, and serving.
Product Knowledge: Be well-versed in our deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches.
Food Preparation: Prepare and package sandwiches, pizza, salads, hot food, and more.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste.
Stocking & Display: Manage product storage, rotation, and merchandising.
Customer Service: Interact with customers, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
Food Safety:



Adhere to health and safety regulations in food handling and sanitation.

Qualifications
Experience: Previous work in a deli or food service environment.
Knowledge: Familiarity with deli products and food safety practices.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team effectively.
Passion: A genuine love for quality deli offerings and exceptional customer service. Excellent attitude and work ethic. Outgoing and energetic personality.
Availability: Adaptable schedule.
