Job Description

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide support for a client in Crossfield, AB. Full-time, part time, and casual prospects are available.

The successful candidate will provide essential personal care and companionship while supporting the client's comfort, safety, and independence in their home.

Please note: The client is a heavy smoker and smokes inside the home. The client lives with his mother, who also smokes inside the home. Applicants must be comfortable working in a home with heavy indoor cigarette smoke. The household also has two cats, so caregivers should be comfortable working around pets.

Duties
Provide direct personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting the client's independence.
Assist with mobility, transfers
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe living environment.




Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the office.
Provide specialized care when required.
Communicate effectively with family members and the care team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, or a related field is preferred.
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or complex care needs is considered an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, dependable, and able to maintain professionalism in all situations.
Comfortable working in a home with heavy indoor cigarette smoke.
Comfortable working in a home with two cats.
