Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and patient-focused Physiotherapy Assistant to support our clinical team on a casual basis. This role assists therapists with treatment preparation, patient exercise supervision, clinic organization, and maintaining a clean and welcoming treatment environment.

This is an excellent prospect for students or graduates pursuing careers in Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Rehabilitation Sciences, or other healthcare professions.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
Clean and sanitize treatment tables, equipment, and therapy areas
Assist patients with prescribed exercises under the direction of a Physiotherapist
Set up and organize therapeutic equipment and exercise stations
Assist with patient flow throughout the clinic
Monitor patients performing exercises and report concerns to therapists
Restock treatment supplies and maintain clinic organization




Support therapists with administrative and operational tasks as required
Ensure compliance with clinic safety, infection control, and privacy standards

QualificationsRequired
High school diploma or currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, professional, and punctual
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Comfortable standing and moving throughout shifts

Preferred
Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Physiotherapy Assistant, Health Sciences, or related education
Previous experience in a physiotherapy, chiropractic, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting
CPR and First Aid Certification (asset)

Pay: $18.00 per hour
