Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
Load and unload cargo, utilizing heavy lifting techniques when necessary, while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading, unloading, and yard activities
Assist with yard duties such as securing loads and conducting vehicle inspections when required
Experience
Proven experience operating heavy trucks or commercial vehicles with a clean driving record
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various conditions
Solid knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial trucking
Excellent navigational skills with the ability to follow routes precisely
Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual tasks as needed
Pay: $20.74-$36.80 per hour
