Responsibilities and Expectations
To ensure that all products produced meet customer specifications. (Micro, Leakers, Formulation, etc.)
To issue batch sheets and verify completeness and accuracy
To issue release notices as required for raw batches
To complete all forms correctly and accurately (e.g. Line Check forms)
To check, verify and issue acceptance notices for incoming ingredients
To verify sanitations records
To be cross trained for QC and Micro lab work
To perform Micro lab work for (stress testing, media preparation, dilution preparation, plating, plate reading, water sample testing, swab plating from various areas, autoclaving, etc.)
To keep your work area clean, secure and follow GMP’s and procedures provided
To work in a protected and healthy setting
To be creative in coming up with solutions to problems
To work with your supervisor on related issues
To advise your supervisor of improvements in your area or in the process
Knowledge, Skills & Education
Post-secondary education in a related discipline
One year of experience in a related position
Proficient in computer application (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Access)
Attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to demonstrate analytical and organizational skills
Must be available to work shift work, holidays, and weekends
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
