Responsibilities
Remove and replace windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other automotive glass components with precision and care
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations and repairs
Inspect vehicles thoroughly to assess damage and determine appropriate repair or replacement procedures
Handle heavy lifting safely when moving large glass components or vehicle parts
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after each job
Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols to guarantee quality workmanship
Communicate clearly with team members and customers regarding service procedures and timelines
Qualifications
Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
Solid mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
Mechanic experience is highly advantageous for understanding vehicle structures and glass installation requirements
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy glass components safely
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
