We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at Alforno Restaurant and Pizzeria in Canada. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while embodying our commitment to quality Italian cuisine.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat customers promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Qualifications




Proven experience in a server role or similar position within the food service industry.
Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
Proficiency in using POS systems (e.g., Micros POS).
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively.
Ability to work well under pressure in a rapid-paced workplace.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
