Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role is essential in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their overall quality of life. The Physiotherapist will work closely with a diverse patient population, including athletes, the elderly, MVA and workplace-injured patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical diagnosis
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
Implement hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Requirements
Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
Valid physiotherapy license and in good standing with the CPO.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
