Our client in the hospitality, food, and catering industry is seeking a skilled and creative Bartender to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and bar operations, and will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively and quick-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Create and refine signature cocktails that complement the restaurant’s menu and enhance the overall dining experience.
Maintain bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with the operations manager for ordering supplies.
Ensure compliance with Alberta liquor laws and responsible service guidelines.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-maintained, ensuring all equipment and glassware meet health and safety standards.
Engage guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, fostering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
Assist in developing drink promotions and seasonal beverage features.
Support special events and functions with creative drink options and bar setups.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1–2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
ProServe Certification required (or willingness to obtain).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage high-volume service.
Creativity in drink presentation and recipe development.
Team player with a positive attitude and robust work ethic.
