The Hip Café in Bobcaygeon is looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can help keep the kitchen clean, organized and prepared for busy breakfast and lunch service.
Responsibilities include:
Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
Keeping the dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized
Basic food preparation and portioning
Preparing vegetables and other ingredients for service
Restocking and keeping prep areas organized
Assisting the cooks with daily kitchen preparation
Putting away deliveries and rotating stock
Taking out garbage and recycling
General kitchen cleaning
Helping wherever needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly
What we’re looking for:
Reliable and punctual
Valuable work ethic and positive attitude
Comfortable working in a rapid-paced kitchen
Able to follow instructions and work independently
Valuable attention to cleanliness and food safety
Previous kitchen or prep experience is an asset
Willing to train the right person

We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of the team and isn’t afraid to jump in and help wherever needed during a busy day.
Pay: $17.60-$23.95 per hour
