We are seeking reliable and experienced Operators/ Drivers to join our team.
This role involves:
Managing the tow truck you have been given to deliver customers vehicles safely and in a timely fashion.
Complete your daily paperwork
Respond to all calls given in a timely fashion
Must be organized and take direction well
Must be able to work as a team member
Duties
Show up for work on time
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Maintain accurate documentation of calls and vehicle maintenance records
Reply to the dispatcher on duty in a timely fashion
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding all calls given and any issues
Requirements
Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience in towing and all aspects of this industry is an asset
Ability to operate Flatbeds and Wreckers safely and efficiently
Robust knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards (MTO)
Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and perform vehicle inspections
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently
Fluently, Read, Write and understand English
Daily paperwork requirements
Available for all shifts including, Days, Nights, Weekends and Holidays
Must live in the Muskoka area and or willing to relocate
