Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and people-focused Driver Recruitment & Retention Coordinator to join our growing transportation team.

This role will be responsible for recruiting qualified AZ company drivers and owner operators, managing the hiring and onboarding process, and building solid relationships with our existing drivers to improve long-term retention.

The ideal candidate has experience recruiting drivers in the transportation industry, understands what drivers and owner operators look for in a carrier, and is comfortable actively sourcing candidates rather than relying only on incoming applications.

Key Responsibilities

Driver Recruitment
Recruit qualified AZ company drivers and owner operators.
Post, manage, and regularly refresh job advertisements across Indeed, social media, job boards, and other recruiting platforms.
Proactively source and contact potential drivers and owner operators.
Review, screen, and qualify applications based on company hiring requirements.
Conduct phone and in-person interviews.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified drivers for future openings.
Track recruiting activity, including applications, interviews, offers, hires, and source of hire.




Develop new recruiting strategies and identify additional sources for attracting qualified drivers.
Promote the company, equipment, lanes, pay structure, and opportunities to prospective drivers and owner operators.

Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of transportation recruiting experience, preferably recruiting AZ drivers and owner operators.
Strong understanding of the trucking and transportation industry.
Experience recruiting both company drivers and owner operators is preferred.
Familiarity with CVOR, Driver Abstracts, PSP Reports, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and driver qualification requirements.
Robust communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable making outbound recruiting calls and approaching potential candidates.
Strong interviewing and candidate-screening skills.
Ability to manage multiple candidates and open positions simultaneously.
Highly organized with solid follow-up skills.
Experience using Indeed, social media, and other driver recruiting platforms.
Experience with Samsara, TMS platforms, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office is an asset.
Valid driver's licence.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
