6-Month Contract with Potential Extension
Curaga Healthcare Group is seeking a qualified Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to support diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
Current CMRITO registration required
C.A.M.R.T. and/or O.A.M.R.S. registration with appropriate liability insurance
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Experience performing general X-ray examinations
Experience assisting with and/or performing gastrointestinal fluoroscopy examinations
CT experience preferred; candidates willing to complete CT training will be considered
Solid computer and word-processing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using available equipment in accordance with established radiology policies, procedures, and best practices
Ensure accurate and timely completion of imaging documentation
Work independently and collaboratively within the healthcare team
Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, privacy, and professionalism
Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity when providing care to the population served
Participate in the after-hours call rotation, including evenings and weekends as required
