Ward Tirecraft Balzac is looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team.

This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced apprentice looking to continue building their skills in a busy shop while working toward their Journeyman certification.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trucks and heavy-duty vehicles
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
Repair brakes, suspension, steering, driveline, and other mechanical systems
Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics
Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean and protected work area
Work alongside experienced Journeyman technicians
Assist with tire-related work when required

Qualifications
Registered 3rd or 4th Year Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice
Previous heavy-duty truck repair experience
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's licence
Reliable and able to work independently




Able to work effectively in a quick-paced shop environment
Willingness to perform tire work when needed
Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
