Oversee the day-to-day operation of the cafeteria.
Supervise, support, and motivate cafeteria staff.
Ensure food is prepared, served, and presented according to company standards.
Provide friendly and effective customer service to students and staff.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and food safety standards.
Complete daily cash handling and ensure accurate cash procedures are followed.
Monitor inventory and place orders as required.
Maintain appropriate food and labour costs.
Ensure the cafeteria, kitchen, equipment, and storage areas are clean, organized, and maintained.
Follow all company, health and safety, and Board policies and procedures.
Assist with scheduling and staff coverage as needed.
Address day-to-day operational issues and communicate concerns to the Operations Manager.
Build positive relationships with school staff, students, and the school community.
