Bird & Squirrel is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to help with Airbnb turnover cleanings on our busiest days.
This is an on-call, as-needed position, making it ideal for someone looking for flexible, part time work.
Schedule
On-call based on turnover volume
Availability required between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM
Must be available to work weekdays and weekends
Hours will vary depending on bookings and occupancy
Responsibilities
Working alongside our Lead Cleaner, you will:
Complete all assigned turnover cleaning tasks
Prepare units for arriving guests to our high standards
Restock amenities and supplies
Change linens and make beds
Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas
Complete any additional turnover duties as directed by the Lead Cleaner
Help ensure every unit is guest-ready before check-in
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Dependable and punctual—our guest check-in times are non-negotiable
Available on short notice when extra help is needed
Able to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail
Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including lifting laundry, bending, and being on your feet for several hours
Reliable with transportation to our property in Cliff Bungalow
Experience
Previous residential, hotel, or Airbnb cleaning experience is an asset but not required. We value reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
