We are looking for a full-time morning prep cook to join our team! You will be responsible for opening the kitchen and prepping the day’s dough, sauces, proteins, produce, etc. as well as placing and receiving food orders. Candidates must be able to work quickly and efficiently by themselves multitasking and planning out their prep days. Candidates must be able to keep a clean kitchen and follow procedures and recipes as instructed. The prep position is the foundation of our restaurant’s quality and the right candidate must have a desire and passion to maintain this standard.
Responsibilities
Preparing fresh dough everyday along with other items as required including sauce, proteins, produce etc.
Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with health regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective kitchen operations.
Monitor food inventory to place and receive product orders
Qualifications
Experience in food preparation and/or cooking within a restaurant environment
Ability to multitask and work independently in a demanding kitchen setting
Food Secure Level 1 (will cover the cost for the right candidate if required)
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
