Responsibilities
Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining workflow
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
Follow safety protocols related to food service, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operation
Help uphold a welcoming atmosphere by supporting overall restaurant cleanliness and organization
Requirements
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service workplace is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
Robust understanding of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and precision
Knowledge of kitchen operations, including basic food preparation or cooking skills is a plus
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a hospitality setting
