Requirement/Must Have:
7 to 15 years of hands-on experience on Java/J2EE.
Ability to write optimized, effective and clean code.
Robust Object-Oriented Programming and Design Pattern concepts with practical experience of leveraging the same during development.
Proficiency in Linux, Unix, and Shell Scripting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement solutions.
DevOps knowledge including packaging and deploying web applications using Jenkins or Teamcity.
Strong attitude and work ethics with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Robust verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with global teams.
Ability to write unit tests that exercise all major logic components of the code.
Responsibilities:
Transform requirements into functional code.
Attend daily scrum meetings and report on project status.
Learn and implement in-house frameworks and Java best practices.
Collaborate with a team of developers to deliver key initiatives on high-priority projects.
Master new technical and business concepts within the regulatory landscape.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Java 8+.
Strong Database skills including PL/SQL and query tuning.
Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
Knowledge of Layered Architecture and Component-based Architecture.
Experience with Python or Perl scripting.
Experience in development of web applications, batch, or streaming applications.
Prior experience in finance or legal operations.
