Part time Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part time Dental Hygienist to join our friendly dental team. In this role, you will provide high-quality dental hygiene services, promote patient oral health, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a robust attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. Duties
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Assist with patient examinations and recordkeeping using dental software such as AKITU ONE
Support the dental team during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
Manage patient appointments, follow-up care,



and treatment plans
Communicate effectively with patients, including bilingual patients, to ensure understanding of treatment procedures and oral health recommendations

Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
Experience with AKITU ONE or similar dental practice management software is preferred
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry is a plus
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality

Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
