We are seeking an cutting-edge educator with extensive experience in lighting and rendering to join BCIT’s energetic teaching team. In this role, you will mentor students as they navigate complex concepts like shading networks and multi-pass rendering.

Delivering a curriculum that reflects current industry standards and supporting diversity in learning will be central to your work.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach 3D lighting and rendering principles in an engaging manner
Prepare and evaluate course content and student assessments




Facilitate an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
Maintain current course materials in line with industry standards
Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching programs

Requirements:
Relevant degree in Animation or related fields
At least 5 years of experience in the 3D lighting domain
Knowledge of Autodesk Maya and render engines like Arnold
Understanding of camera processes and compositing workflows
Strong communication skills for diverse student support
