Duties:
Perform asbestos, lead, and mold abatement activities in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures
Set up containment areas using plastic sheeting and duct tape to prevent the spread of hazardous materials
Remove and dispose of hazardous materials, such as asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, and mold-infested materials
Use specialized equipment and tools to safely remove and handle hazardous materials
Follow proper decontamination procedures to ensure personal safety and prevent cross-contamination
Clean and sanitize work areas after abatement activities are completed
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including material inventories and waste disposal documentation
Requirements:
Valid driver's license considered an asset
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to asbestos, lead, and mold abatement
Certification or training in asbestos, lead, or mold abatement is preferred but not required
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Robust attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Note: This position involves working with hazardous materials. Proper safety equipment and training will be provided.
