We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our team for evening shifts on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an prospect to work in a energetic kitchen, contribute to creating delicious meals, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Wednesday-Sunday 4pm-12am, 40hrs/week
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations
Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy evening hours
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant or food service setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent understanding of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work evening shifts on a full-time basis, including weekends as needed
