Elementary 30 hours weekly August 24, 2026 to November 6, 2026 with possibility of extension. Temporary position replacing a leave of absence. The successful applicant will provide support to students in grades K-5. Desirable qualifications and attributes: Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education Ability to build upon and facilitate positive relationships through valued attachments Ability to support inclusive education opportunities for students in a variety of grades Experience with Complex Special Educational Needs and Autism is considered an asset Ability to work collaboratively as a team member Ability to work with paraprofessionals such as speech pathologist, occupational therapists and school based learning team NVCI or SIVA training would be considered an asset For more information about the Red Deer Public School District, visit our website at:
