We are a warm and friendly family moving to Oakville, Ontario later this year, and we are looking for a reliable, caring and experienced babysitter for occasional childcare.
We have two lovely primary-school-aged children.
Our youngest is autistic, so experience working with autistic children and/or children with additional needs/SEN is essential.
We are looking for someone who is patient, understanding and empathetic, and who can build a positive, trusting relationship with both of our children.
This is an occasional, live-out position, with childcare needed on an as-and-when basis.
Duties may include playing with the children, preparing straightforward meals and helping with their bedtime routine when required.
The ideal candidate will have previous childcare experience, whether through babysitting, daycare,
nannying or working with children in another skilled setting.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and is confident supporting a child with additional needs.
