Join Taproot Community Support Services as a full-time Parent Consultant, making a difference in the Red Deer community. Support families through relationship development and educational initiatives while respecting diverse cultural backgrounds.

This full time position entails working under the guidance of a Registered Psychologist. You will provide insightful support to families facing various challenges, focusing on strengthening the parent-child bond and enhancing interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver versatile support to families’ unique needs
• Manage and implement service plans effectively
• Conduct home visits for comprehensive support
• Build trusting relationships to improve communication




• Prepare and submit reports punctually

Requirements:
• Preferred degree in Psychology or Social Work
• Three years’ experience working with families
• Current explicit criminal record check
• Certification in First Aid and suicide intervention
• Valid driver’s license with insurance and reliable vehicle
